English Language Challenges

English has always been a barrier in my education, before I went super but at some point in my life I forgot everything I knew. So it has been hard for me to learn English both at school and at university. I was surprised when I knew that I had to take English at the ICEI and here we are at the last level that is taught.

In the ICEI it has been rare my stay with English, since I am from level 2 and I have seen the difficulty that each one has had. Blogs have been very useful since you have to occupy vocabulary and that's what has cost me the most. Besides, you talk about interesting topics that still help you.

My English is still very weak, I have to concentrate too much to understand, and the problem that deconcentrated me very easy. My big problem is my vocabulary, I'm forgotten from simple words by nervousness and in the end I do not know what to say. I have practiced a lot with series or videos in English, where I have understood what they say. The music has also helped me, the last weeks I've listened to a lot of music in English and I understand what they say, I've also improved my pronunciation.

My biggest problem is that I do not occupy much of the language outside of class, so it is only on Tuesday the day I practiced it and no other. Unless you listen to music in English, but that's not every day. Although I think English is only practical, because when you speak it out, then the words come out on their own.

CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

Resultado de imagen para icei
It is a very controversial issue for me, because this summer I did my professional practice and I was affected by the things I did not learn so well in university. I believe that the career of journalism in this university should change many things, from teachers, infrastructure and the same curriculum.

I think the duration of the career should be four years and not five, all because there are many branches where they teach you the same thing over and over again. There are many branches that really do not serve you for journalistic work, if to be a cultured person, but in strict rigor not for the exercise of the career it self.

There are many teachers who do not teach well and who do not have the social touch to teach, I mean they are bad pedagogues. The university also needs to review the teachers program, since they do not teach what they have to teach. It happened to me in practice where I never learned to be on television and I learned more in that place than in the University.

In infrastructure, it must improve a lot, since each year the number of enrollments increases and the place becomes small to receive so many people and the labor market is also low. There are more places to do television journalism, as well as implements to record and take pictures.

I am very critical of the university, because at the beginning of my practice I had a bad time because of knowledge I did not know. I feel that what is most needed is a branch of oral expression, but that it is mandatory, since it is a career that needs a lot of personality and there are very intelligent people who do not have it.

Ernesto Sabato

Resultado de imagen para ernesto sabatoThis Argentine writer struck me at the age of 16 when I had to read the book El Túnel. I speak of Ernesto Sábato, who lived 99 years! Considered as part of the triad of famous Argentine writers behind Jorge Luis Borges and Julio Cortazar, other greats of literature.

Sábato is primarily an essayist who ventured into the novel on three occasions, it should be noted that he is a qualified mathematician and then became interested in the area of the humanities.
The Tunnel was his great work, although now he would be in the controversy for the theme of the book, I see it as a warning book about the psychological problems that man can have and alert women to be careful if they have a relationship with a person of those characteristics.

In his essays he talks about life, God, society in such an eloquent way that makes me worthy to admire, in fact, I share a lot the vision of life that he has. He was also President of the Human Rights Commission once the Argentine dictatorship ended.

Current Issues.

It is really difficult to write without falling into somethin me too much every time I see it is about working seniors. On Saturday I had to see an old couple in the bus loaded with merchandise and it was so much their fatigue that they were sleeping during the journey. That scene broke my heart, because they worked all their lives and now they should rest, but the pensions are so low that they are forced to continue working to survive.

I believe that this topic is important, since we will all be old some day and if you ask me at that age I want to enjoy and rest, not be working because I do not have money. The quality of life of the elderly is bad and should change, it is not possible that a person who is already living his last moments in this world, can not enjoy. I am very sorry for this situation and I feel that we should change it now.

The next solution is to change our cultural chip, where we have a respect for the elderly and that he has to enjoy his retirement. Initially, the social security system has to change, since there are people who earn very little and with the high prices of this country it is impossible to live a month with that money.

POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

Resultado de imagen para Diario asI've always liked sports journalism, from the school that was a fan of sports and was one of the reasons why I'm studying journalism. I understand that we must always be perfected to deliver a better service, that is why I have thought about studying a magister in sports journalism. I have found out and in the place where they teach you best, it is in Spain. I feel that I must know much more than football, since there are many sports.

I was finding out and in the magister they teach a lot of things, from a lot of sports like knowing how to express them, both in audiovisual and in writing. I would like to know everything, I would like to learn, since that is what I like.

Well, as I said before in Spain are the best magister, apart from working with the most prestigious sports newspapers in that country which would help me to have a great experience. Apart from that, the biggest football team in the world is Real Madrid.

The truth is that I would like to study in Madrid or Barcelona, but it has to be in Spain and in those cities, since this is the core of Spanish sport. The class must be present, since online does not work much, I think. Added to that you meet people from other countries and you leave the country. You know a new and rich culture like the Spanish.

My Future Job?

Resultado de imagen para panenka revistaI am studying journalism and I do not know if I will work as a journalist. It is a frequent doubt in my mind. Although if I would like to pursue my career, but not in an office with all that pressure from the media, I would be stressed and without a social life.

My ideal job would be to be a sporadic collaborator, but with good articles. The issue is that there is only one form of journalism that I want to do and is that of Panenka magazine in Spain. I like the reports that this magazine makes, and its focus.

In doing this work I feel that I am going to travel too much, and to places that perhaps very few people have visited. I love to travel, I was even thinking about being a travelling journalist so I could go around the world, get to know cultures and get out of the Chilean reality, which really makes me sick.

I have not taken a specialty yet, since they are taken next year, but I would like to take something related to sports. I have always liked sports.

I like many subjects, but I could not work them on a daily basis, I feel that I am a person for long-term things.

My Pet

It is not my pet, but my grandfather's, but in the end it belongs to the whole family. The Luna came to my grandparents' house 13 years ago, it was a round white ball, that's why my older cousin gave him a moon. She arrived by means of a person to whom my grandfather was selling milk and she offered her for adoption to our lunita.

The Luna is a dwarf poodle, white and very affectionate, but with strangers it is uncouth, it always barks at them. In some cases it does not even let them get close to their gifts. His gifts are: my sister, a cousin Carlos, my cousin Ariel and my grandfather. Ariel is his favorite, but when he went to work on Easter Island, my grandfather occupied that place. With my grandfather it was everything, it was his companion until the last day of my grandfather with life. When the moon died, he put himself under the coffin and did not stop crying. It was a year with depression, and to calm her I slept with her so she would not cry, it broke my heart to hear her.

The Luna is the symbol of my family, it is everything, we love and love it. When she leaves, I'll cry a lot because she's the best.
